1. How soon will my account be set up and ready to use?
Your account will be setup within 24 hours once your payment has been cleared. You will receive an email with your account information, IP address, user name and password. You can then start uploading your site.
2. Is there a minimum time contract/commitment?
The minimum duration is three months. However, you are covered by our 30-day money back guarantee. If for any reason you not satisfied with our services in the first 30 days of signing up for your account, you may cancel and receive a full refund.
3. Which methods of payments are available?
We accept online credit/debit card payment via VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Paypal.
4. Is my access 24 hours a day?
Yes. You will have support for your account 24 hours a day.
5. Can you register domain names for me?
Yes we can.  Just go to the Domains section of the site and we can register a new domain for you.
6. Do you host international domains?
Yes. We can host international domains from any country of origin.
7. Do you allow adult, warez or other illicit sites or content?
No. Please see our Terms of Service for permissible content.

9. What is your server environment?
Our servers are mission-specific, industrial grade machines designed to the toughest industry specifications. They are never overloaded and they are monitored 24/7 to ensure smooth, uninterruptible performance.

Our company uses 4 different data centers: Dallas, Texas; Chicago, IL; Cedar Falls, IA; Fremont, CA
11. Do you offer a money-back guarantee?
Yes. All web hosting services are covered by our hassle-free, 30-day money back guarantee: If for any reason you not satisfied with our services in the first 30 days of signing up for your account, you may cancel and receive a full refund. Domain registration fees are not refundable.
12. Can I get unlimited bandwidth?
No. We do not offer packages with unlimited bandwidth primarily because there is no such thing as "unlimited bandwidth". Someone has to pay for the traffic somewhere - and if you check the fine print of the service agreements from companies who claim to offer "unlimited" bandwidth, you'll find that their interpretation of "unlimited" is not what you think.
13. Is GeekHosting.com a reseller?
No. We own and operate our own servers.
14. Will you place banners on my site?
No. GeekHosting.com provides a paid service and there will be no banners or other forms of advertising placed on your web site by us.
15. What kind of customer support do you offer?
Customer support is offered through our web Helpdesk and via Live Chat. Technical support requests are answered within 24 hours. We do not provide telephone support.
16. Can I upgrade my account in the future?
Yes, you can upgrade your account at any time. The cost is simply the price difference between the two plans. There are no other fees and you will receive prorated credit.
17. Do you offer uptime guarantees?

Yes, we do offer our clients a 99.5% server uptime guarantee for all of your sites hosted under us. In the rare event that does not achieve our advertised 99.5% (monthly) for any given month, we will begin refunding 5% of your monthly bill for each half hour of downtime past 99.5%.

Scheduled server maintinence is not covered in this uptime guarantee.

18. I need more resources. Do you offer bigger plans?
Yes, we do. If you need more resources, you can combine two or more plans into a single plan that has enough resources to fit your requirements..
19. Do you offer shell access??
We do not offer SSH access due to security concerns on our basic plans.  If you need this, then contact us directly and we will help you directly.  SSH access is rarely required, however, if you need to perform some task where such access is needed, you can submit a helpdesk ticket and we'll perform the task for you.
